available continuously. Locate tubs near a
source of water, salt or loafing areas. On
open range locate tubs where animals
congregate, near gaps or along trails.
Variables in consumption could be
temperature, humidity, type of animal, animal
size, stage of production and animal health.
The quality, source, availability of roughage
and/or light grain may also affect
consumption. Measure product upon first
