You can tell a lot from what you see in your cattle's eyes. We have been using the OLS mineral tubs since November 2016. Our cattle are bright eyed. Calving season is upon us, looking forward to the benefits of using the OLS tubs. Truly appreciate our dealer, Kacey Lyons.

“ Your company stands by its products – we had a soft tub an it was replaced. The OLS #9 Bovine Breeder worked very good, had less open cows last year – this spring calves were very healthy! (Drought last year) Some tubs the cows seem to back off of and not lick this time of the year. We had excessive rain in June and the tubs seemed to saturate bad but the cows just licked it off.” Lonnie - ND
“Used the OLS #9 Tubs in 2006 summer months. Had DE added, had good fly control! Cows came through drought conditions in good shape and weaned calves at same weight as before with good grass.” Steven W. – ND
“Once the livestock get started on these lick tubs – they are addicted to them and they lick until they are empty. Our son says the animals like to lick the tubs when they are bored and it entertains them!” Ketterling Brothers - ND
“We have just begun using the fly control mineral - OLS #8 Die Fly. It seems to be working fairly well and the cattle aren’t bunching up as much as some we’ve observed. They do eat the mineral and do not seem to “over” indulge as they did on the other kinds. We do use salt blocks also in addition to the “tubs”. We have lots of grass this year, and they still use the tubs as we place them in water areas.” Dean Hellig – ND
This is our first year trying the OLS tubs. We used the stress tubs at weaning last fall for our calves. The calves never missed a beat they were healthy all the way through. Over the years we have tried many different brands of tubs for our cows. We always ended up going back to loose mineral because the cows would go through the tubs like candy. With the OLS tubs our cows actually consumed the recommended amount and the cows seem very satisfied. With other tubs we would still see the cows eating dirt or chewing on wood so that makes us wonder if they were truly getting what they needed. Today our cows seem very content, so we are very pleased with what the OLS tubs have done for our herd so far.

When we took this horse to a "trainer" in Laramie for 90 days last summer/fall she was healthy and in good shape. She was returned to us on October 11, 2015 in terrible shape and starving. After two months on OLS Equine Athlete tubs, along with Senior Feed and good grass she is recovering nicely. The far left photo was taken in October of 2014, the middle photos were taken October 12, 2015 and the photos on the right were taken December 14, 2015. We highly recommend OLS tubs.

My husband and I are avid users of the OLS Tubs. We deal with Jeff Gutek up here in Saskatchewan Canada and have seen great improvements in our operation with these. We feed them to both our cattle and horses. Our heifer conception rate was at 100% this fall as well as our weaning mortality rate was 0%. I also find our calves are much healthier come spring with them having access to your tubs. My horses really enjoy them as well, they really help promote their overall health.
Thank You for your time

I started feeding OLS Tubs to my horses just two months ago. Hard fall work on the ranch and an extra cold winter left my horses thin and dull looking. A friend recommended OLS Tubs so I started them on the #1 Supple Licks Extreme, ( my locale co-op carries)my horses are gaining weight and look better already and there gaining weight along there topline not just a fat belly. A 250 pound tub lasted 5-7 horse almost two months. And even the picky eaters love it. I'm very happy with this product and will be switching to the #17 Equine Athlete, being I'm only feeding to horses, and would like to try something more specific to horses. This product is wonderful and affordable and I'm excited to see continued results. Thank you

"We started using OLS Tubs about a year and a half ago. This fall of 2016, our first time heifers had 100% breedup. Our calves were 25 pounds heavier than last year and momma cows looked amazing at weaning with a 95% breedback, which is the best breedback we’ve had since I’ve owned the place. We’ve doctored 1 calf all year with 0% death loss and even our crippled cow seems to be doing great.
All our stock is bright-eyed, feeling great and producing better results than years before and we controlled our cost per head per day to $0.18 on average. We are very impressed with the OLS product and their customer service. We definitely recommend OLS Livestock Feed Supplements!"
“We have been doctoring an old barrel horse for years now. The old boy just knows so much about racing but his body just tires out any more. After feeding the tubs we have seen a complete switch in attitude. He wants to run and has more energy. It is so exciting to see him enjoying competition again!”
“We have used several kinds of Orwig’s Lick Tubs. The cattle tend to eat them WHEN THEY NEED THE NUTRIENTS. The time before-calving and after-calving have been when we see vital and higher usage.” Ron Ketterling – Ketterling Brothers – ND
“We have tried all kinds of top dressed powders and concoctions on our horse herd. These tubs take the cake! They actually did the job you said they would do and they worked very quickly. We noticed improvement in just a couple of weeks. Their eyes are brighter, they seem healthier, and they never get snotty noses any more! Their resistance to disease is now very, very good! The tubs are the only thing we do different now. It is sure worth it!”
“We are very happy with your product – The OLS #13 Sheep Cake! We have used it on our sheep for as long as Mintana has sold it. Our sheep really enjoy it! Thank you!” The Chapels – MT
“We have tried everything - supplement and medication out there, under the sun, for sale and nothing completely worked for us until we tried your minerals and feed supplements. We have had our two brood mares which grain foundered on the tubs for two years now and we see vast improvement in each. Each month it is a little easier for both to walk. The hoof wall has regrown strong and upright and the veterinarian now find very little rotation in the coffin bone by x-ray. Thank you for making such a “life saving” product!”
The OLS tubs have been a big success on our farm. Our cows stay in great shape, get re-bred on time and bring home healthy calves with good weaning weights and slick hair coats.

“Time is money and with 1200 head cow calf operation this is a cost efficient feed for fall grazing in rough country. You can help the cattle spread out in the hills to use the pasture up evenly. The 30% protein tubs gives enough to balance out there diet in the fall. Another plus is the product has a hardness to keep the cows from overeating. To supplement high protein in rough country is too hard to manage any other way. Any product is only as good as its dealer and Brad Gjermundson got us started on this a few years ago and does an excellent job with his service.” “Several reasons why we use the tubs; it eliminates foot rot - summer and winter, healthier newborn calves, cows clean faster, saves feed (roughage), and herd health improvement. It balances their diet on dry grass or on feed very cost effectively - they don’t overeat! We have tried many other tubs, minerals, liquid supplements but none of them do the job like these do for us! We have used it for several years now and are very satisfied. Again, the cattle are healthier, no foot rot and it saves feed. Everything with four legs on this ranch gets it!”
“Within 7 days of first introducing the tubs we see better condition on the animals coats and their eyes are brighter. What amazes us is the little baby calves will lick from the tubs. It seems to develop their rumen and we get much heavier weaning weights by fall then in past year when we did not use it. The tubs sure have made a money making difference with our herd!”
“We have an old pony that had grass foundered and could hardly walk for many years. He laid around and stayed off his feet any time he could, he would graze dry grass on his knees. We considered having him put down but couldn’t stand to do it because he belonged to our son that passed away in 91’. After just a few weeks on your tubs he can walk much better and is feeling good again. We can see a big difference in his temperament and actions. It appears that the old pony is smiling inside because he feels good again, and that in turn makes us feel good also. THANKS FOR THE GREAT PRODUCT!” Wayne Herman - Watertown, SD

I have tried many different brands of tubs over the years. The OLS tubs have done the best job for me. I deal with Dave Juntunen of Bryant, South Dakota. He has worked very hard with me to get the best tubs that will work for my goals. I have been using OLS tubs now for 3 years. I started with a new rare breed of cattle for me. Red Belted Galloway cattle. I wanted to put red beltie embryo's in my Polled Hereford heifers. I had never done anything like that. They said the success ratio was a little over 50%. I had started my cattle on the # 9 tubs. The first 2 years I was able to get 62 1/2% safe in calf. This last year Steve came out with a new tub #24. I had good luck with the #9 so I decided to try the #24. Glad I did. This year I have 75% safe in calf. I'm happy with this! I really like how well these tubs work for me. I have other success stories if you want to contact me. I would highly recommend that you try them. I'm now the worlds largest breeder of JUST Red Belted Galloway cattle.
“I love your product! We have been using it for a number of years now. We are currently in a drought that seems to increase the number of flies. Your product has been working great! The cows are not bothered by the flies, they continue to gain and do much better than the neighbors. Last year there was a breakout of pinkeye. Our herd was not bothered at all! All of the herds around us were effected, some very severely. We did not have one case! I felt this saved us money; time and our herd did not suffer. Thanks for making such a GREAT product – don’t quit!” Gordon Hirschi – MT
“The OLS Supplements have shown us a number of things that we like in our cow herd. 1. Improved herd health (Footrot Control) 2. Better Breed Back 3. Better Feed Utilization 4. Controlled Consumption We use the tubs year round for everything!”
“Before we started using the OLS #8Die Fly supplement we had a lot of pinkeye, even after we vaccinated and there would be flies all the way down the sides of the cows. Now we have no pinkeye and very few flies on the cows – thanks to the Die Fly #8!” Dwight Beck – ND
“We use the OLS #11 Sheep Ewe Licks. I try to keep feed supplements in the pasture at all times. The Ewe and lambs love it and the ewes cycle better with it.” Barbara Woolsey – MT
“We have been using the Custom OLS #9 Bovine Breeder supplement tub for three years on our herd of commercial Angus cattle. There are several advantages using this product. We can take the tubs out to each cell in the grazing rotation system when the grazing season begins and replace the tubs as needed. The fly control with the Diatomaceous Earth was significant when the tubs were always accessible for the cattle. We noticed our cattle spread out grazing and not bunched up. We are pleased to be able to use this product and stay within the all-natural requirements for feeder steers.

My name is Kyler Scott I live in Craig, Co an my sister in law Kacey Lyons recently became an OLS dealer. We have some horses an do anything from helping out local cattle ranchers, ranch rodeos, cow pony races, an team roping. The horse on the right in this picture I call Jasper he's a nine year old thoroughbred that's always been a hard keeper come winter in Craig when it gets -30 below . I've also had to use a supplemental grain an feed him alfalfa hay to keep him half way fat through the winter. When Kacey became a dealer she gave me one fifty pound OLS Equine Athlete Tub an told me to try it. I honestly wasn't totally hip on the idea but thought what the heck it's free an I don't wanna cause a family dispute because I'm not supporting her product. LOL All jokes aside I have fed nothing but grass hay an these tubs to my horses all winter an even Jasper is pig fat an I've saved a ton of money on alfalfa hay an high dollar grain. Im a firm believer in OLS Equine Tubs. Thanks so much for your guys great product.

"OLS tubs have worked well for our cattle operation. They are easy to move to different fields and the weather doesn't affect them. While our cows have been using them they have cycled well and the calves have been born strong and without any deficiencies. The cows usually eat them fairly consistently. We can also use them for our horses."
"I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend OLS tubs. Our horses have never looked so good. Just stopped at the Eureka Elevator in Eureka, SD and picked up a #9 for my yearling colts and fillies. During the breeding season my mares get the rebreed tubs. LOVE them! I sure learned alot at the customer appreciation meeting in Eureka a while back. You guys are great and have really done your research on what you put into your tubs!"

"Hello. I am Jim Zezas and my father, John, and I have been using OLS cattle feed supplements for about three years on the John Zezas and Sons Ranch, south of Buffalo, Wy. We have found that when we fed the # 9 breeder tubs to our cows and bulls the consumption rates are spot on. I also use the calf tubs when I wean my calves and then move them onto the #9 tubs with a free choice grass hay ration to background them with great success.
I have used the sheep tubs for about 8 months now and my flock looks great and are consuming right on target. I have found that by using these products we can keep our feed costs under control, by stretching our pastures and hay, along with keeping our supplement costs down. What we have seen in the consumption rates allows us to budget for future orders to keep the products fresh without having to buy extra tubs due to irregular consumption rates.
One of the things that I like about this company is that they will work with you to customize any of their products to fit your needs. In today's economy we need to have a few things we can count on and with OLS livestock feed supplements we have that with dependable supplements and manageable supplement costs."
“Yes, I am one of those horse nuts that just won’t let go of an old aged mare. It has been just heart wrenching to watch my beloved friend go down hill. Her body had just drained of life and we just could not keep the weight on her until we found these tubs. She really gives them a work out and the consumption is surprisingly very controlled. The change in this mare is simply remarkable. It really saved her!”
“We simply cannot believe how fast our horses shed out their winter hair since they have been on the tubs. The tubs really seem to make an incredibly noticeable difference; their color is now rich, healthy, and man do they shine. They simply look more beautiful overall when compared to photos of the same animals from last year. Keep putting whatever you put in this stuff, the feed supplements really work!”

We like feeding the #22 to our cattle. It has everything in it to keep herd healthy. And we have nice strong calves in spring. A win win product.

THE first thing we look for in a nutrient or food product at NISKU FARMS is palatability it does not matter the energy or nutrient content if there is no uptake. it is about delivering the nutrients in a timely fashion
secondly the nutrient level and balance of your product is outstanding with conception rates consistently in the high 70% on the first 21 day cycle and even over 80% one year. NEXT we like the tubs for their durability as over the years these rough tough durable bulls have about destroyed every mineral feeder and competion tub on the market as their products ended up on the ground AT NISKU FARMS being a leader in the VBP+ program we believe in healthy cattle and the nutrient products we use must stimulate there immune systems and it shows in the tremendous shine in the hair coats we have in this cattle herd. Bottom line it is all about health, fertility , and the delivery of a great product. THIS new guy already shows all the signs of a healthy calf off a tremendous mineral program and he will start on your mineral tub containing 10% diatomaceous earth in order to keep those guts clean and healthy and bugs out thanks OLS - LES JOHNSTON NISKU LAND & CATTLE INC - 2017
We like OLS mineral for the simple fact our cows cycle much better, therefore, rebreed much quicker.
The mineral tubs are a convenient way for cattle to get their requirements & the tubs can be located anywhere - corral, pasture.
We like the minerals because the cattle like them, we don't have to coax the livestock to lick - they want to!

The tubs seem to last reasonably well.

We've been using OLS Tubs from Dwight Williams, our supplier in this area, for the past couple of years. It's great to know that the animals are getting whatever they may be lacking, by having access to these tubs. We use the tubs with our cattle and horses and have been very happy with the results!

We are the Kyrylchuk’s from Francis Saskatchewan; we have been using OLS tubs for the last seven years. We get our tubs from Dwight Williams at Wolseley Saskatchewan. We use # 9, #10, #14 and #17 for our cow/calf pairs, our feeders and our horses. OLS tubs have aided in increasing the overall health of our herd. Our feeder calves have not needed doctoring since we started using OLS tubs. Our cows and heifers have a better conception rate and bounce back faster after calving. Our newborn calves really enjoy the tubs and we like the fact that they are not licking dirt. We have had no issues with scours since we started buying OLS tubs. We feel that OLS tubs are the best on the market and recommend them to other people.
Steve and Judy Kyrylchuk - 2017
Our bulls, cows and calves love their OLS tubs! Our cows have increased fertility, our bulls have better testicular development, and our calves have less incident of scours! OLS tubs provide the minerals needed to enhance vaccinations to provide optimum immunity. In the last two years we have seen zero retained placentas, pink eye, enterotoxemia, or foot rot in our cattle. Our calves have increased vigor and our cattle are able to eat lower quality forage with better utilization due to the OLS tub consumption. We always make sure our cattle have plenty of OLS tubs available at all times because they pay for themselves with the results we have seen in our herd. As you can see our cows think OLS tubs are lick-smacking good!

Last fall was the first time we have ever used your tubs. We used them in our heifer calves that we just weaned. Usually we have to doctor sick calves and booster with another p reconditioning shot but we didn't have one sick calf. With the winter that we have had with lots of snow and extremely cold our calves have done extremely well. In the last week we have warmed up lost a lot of our snow and the calves are shiny and are out grazing with our grass opening back up. We have also placed barrels out now with our older cows to help them utilize the open grass that we are getting. I am very pleased with this product and it will become part of our feed program.
